Eucharistic Adoration is a devotion where the Blessed Sacrament is exposed and the faithful are allowed to sit and pray in the presence of Jesus Christ.
CCC 2628 Adoration is the first attitude of man acknowledging that he is a creature before his Creator. It exalts the greatness of the Lord who made us and the almighty power of the Savior who sets us free from evil. Adoration is homage of the spirit to the "King of Glory," respectful silence in the presence of the "ever greater" God. Adoration of the thrice-holy and sovereign God of love blends with humility and gives assurance to our supplications.
"How kind is our Sacramental Jesus! He welcomes you at any hour of the day or night. His Love never knows rest. He is always most gentle towards you. When you visit Him, He forgets your sins and speaks only of His joy, His tenderness, and His Love. By the reception He gives to you, one would think He has need of you to make Him happy." ~ St. Peter Julian Eymard "Apostle of the Eucharist"
Eucharistic Adoration takes place every Friday in the Main Church. The Blessed Sacrament will be displayed after the 9:00 am Mass through 4:30 pm, and then Rosary and Benediction will take place from 4:30-5:00 pm.
On First Friday, the Rosary, followed by First Friday Devotion and Benediction, will take place from 4:30-5:15 pm. First Friday Devotional booklets will be available.
Please consider spending an hour with the Lord in quiet, prayerful time.
